Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. Ps. 42:11

Through out the Bible we see several people who were put in difficult situations for unfair reasons.

Paul and Silas were put in prison.

Daniel was put in the lions den.

Peter was put in prison.

Sampson got his eyes put out.

Joseph was also unfairly put in prison.

Sometimes life takes some challenging turns, and it may seem unfair. You may find yourself your own personal prison. You may feel chained to your past, to bad health, to no job, to an addiction, or an unbearable relationship. You may not be behind physical bars, but you can’t see any way out . What do you do when you feel trapped in a tough place, and you wish you had not been put there? David was put into some very difficult circumstances and he reminds us in Psalms 42 how we can handle the rough times.

Take a look at Psalms 42:11 Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise Him again — my savior and my God!

David reminds us that during discouraging times we must PUT our trust in God. So the next time you are put in a tough place remember to:

P-ractice

U-wavering

T-rust

in God!

Thank God right now for his unwavering love for you, and trust Him and enjoy today. God has this:)
